As a financial services professional since 2003, first as a financial advisor, then a Realtor®/real estate broker, I have found my true passion as a mortgage broker/loan officer. Along with my team of mortgage professionals, all with backgrounds in real estate and/or financial services, we are committed to understanding the needs of our customers and putting them together with the right lender partner and loan product that is the most suitable and cost effective to meet those needs. I have been a Florida resident since 1976 growing up in the Jacksonville area. I graduated from Orange Park High School, obtained my Associates degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville, my Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Financial Services from the University of North Florida and my Master of Business Administration from Jacksonville University. I started my real estate career in Fort Lauderdale Florida and became a real estate and mortgage broker in the Tampa Bay Area. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and love to build things.

I was Born in South Bend, IN but raised and spent most of my life in the Tampa Bay area.  I’m a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) that thrives on helping others.  Integrity is the cornerstone of my business.  I believe that a Mortgage should be about building relationships and assisting customers in achieving their financial goals, not just a loan transaction.  Many Loan Officers can get you a loan, my mission is to get you the right loan.

My years of experience and success in the Mortgage Industry started with my passion for Real Estate.  I obtained my Indiana Real Estate Brokers License in 1999 and became a Top Producing Agent at Coldwell Banker for almost a decade.  My introduction to the Finance world began as a Finance Manager for a Manufactured Home Dealership, where I was able to combine my passion for Real Estate with helping customers obtain their financing.  I obtained my FL Mortgage Loan Originators License in 2018 and have been successful while enjoying my journey helping make Home Ownership possible.  I’m excited and honored to be part of the Team here at Malan Mortgage and I look forward to the opportunity to make your dream of Home Ownership a reality. 

I, like many others, have a great passion for water and the outdoors.  My husband and I live in a Marine Community and enjoy an active fishing and boating lifestyle.  When I’m able to slip away from my desk, you will likely find me somewhere on the water, but never fear…I’m always just a phone call away.

Originally from Illinois,  my family made it to Florida during my early childhood.  Luckily, I have almost no recollection of snow and have since considered Tampa Bay my hometown.

I served 6 years in the U.S. military as an Intelligence Analyst, during which time I earned a degree in Russian at the Presidio of Monterey Language Institute in California.  I have over 20 years of experience with real estate and finance transactions. These experiences have afforded me the attention to detail and level of commitment one would expect to help my borrower customers successfully navigate the sometimes overwhelming process of obtaining the most appropriate home loan to acquire their perfect home.  I’m further dedicated to providing superior customer service, accurate, timely information, and to always operate in my customers’ best interest.
